Lee McCormick has accepted the role of People & Process Manager, Mechanical Operations, a leadership role for campus mechanical operations. Lee has been part of the Building Operations team since 2008 taking on the role of Maintenance Engineer and currently Head Maintenance Engineer. Lee has excelled in his challenging supervisory position, consistently demonstrating a high level of leadership and engagement and his contribution to ensure the uptime of critical systems and equipment has been exceptional over the years.
Lee has played a key role to ensure regulatory compliance and the safe operation of critical systems and equipment across campus. His leadership, innovation, and experience will add so much value, and looking ahead he will continue to advance the Mechanical Operations team sustaining our commitment to regulatory compliance, preserving our physical assets, and driving our continuous improvement throughout all operational areas.
Lee will start his new role on February 19th 2018. Once he completes an orientation period, he will lead our Mechanical Operations team which includes our 24/7 Operating Engineers and the Operations Centre.
