Year 2 kicks-off for UniForum@UBC!

Ana Policzer now part-time Associate Assistant Dean Facilities in the Faculty of Arts

Ana Policzer is a Senior Planner in Infrastructure Development and has recently taken on the role as Associate Assistant Dean Facilities in the Faculty of Arts. This is a part-time role, taking on the Facilities portion of Gerald Vanderwoude, Assistant Dean of Facilities and Human Resources’ role in the Faculty of Arts.

Jennifer Kain appointed as Chief Audit & Risk Officer

This newly-created role is the result of a recommendation put forward by the Internal Audit and Risk Management review performed in 2017. It reports directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor and the Audit Committee Chair of the Board of Governors.

Thomas Straley joins UBC as Accounts Payable Manager

Thomas Straley has joined UBC’s Financial Operations group as the new Accounts Payable Manager. Thomas has more than 15 years of experience in accounts payable, with his most recent position at Aritzia as the Accounts Payable Manager.

Having played high-level sports while attending business school, Tor knows the importance of structure, using time wisely, paying attention to detail, and taking no shortcuts.
