Pamela Voigt assumes role as Senior Manager, Custodial Services with Building Operations

Pamela Voigt is the successful candidate for the new Senior Manager of Custodial Services position.

Pam has been with the university for over seven years, progressing from Clerk 3 to a Payroll Manager, from an Assistant Supervisor to an Operations Manager, and currently serving as Acting Superintendent of Custodial Services for the last two years. She is a shining example of a strong leader who continues to develop her skills at UBC.

Under Pam’s leadership as Acting Superintendent of Custodial Services, Pam has achieved cost savings in sourcing effective entrance mats, more efficiency in scheduling labour, successfully adding a third deployment center, working with Risk Management Services in launching a custodial-specific health and safety plan, and successfully implementing the innovative robotic auto scrubber fleet – among many other initiatives.

In this new role, Pam will continue to be in a leadership role with the Custodial Services business unit providing strategic direction, budget control and leadership development.
