Bryan Antenor and Marcos Kwong join Financial Operations management team

The Financial Operations team is pleased to welcome Bryan Antenor as the department’s new Customer Support Manager, effective January 6. Bryan brings with him over 10 years of expertise in customer service, call centre operations, and systems and process training. He previously served as Operations Manager for Tier 1 in Telus’s National Client Support Centre, where he also gained experience as a Service Desk Trainer. As part of his responsibilities, Bryan will be heading up the Customer Support Centre, which launched in April last year. The dedicated helpdesk helps members of the UBC community with questions relating to procurement, accounts payable, vendors, and a wealth of other UBC financial activities.

The department is also pleased to announce that Marcos Kwong will be stepping into the role of Manager, Procurement Services. Marcos joined Financial Operations as a Strategic Sourcing Lead this year after managing a province-wide procurement team with PHSA that was responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations between all of BC’s hospitals, a large distribution warehouse, and hundreds of medical supply vendors. His great experience and positive attitude will be valuable assets for the Procurement Services team as he steps into this leadership role.
