Get to know: Jeetender Amritsar, Facilities Manager with Building Operations
Jeetender leads daily operations of buildings and is the primary contact for building maintenance services (for the Teal Zone), which include cleaning, preventative maintenance, repair and minor renovations on the UBC Vancouver campus.

T4 / T4A Statements for Faculty and Staff Are Now Available
UBC faculty and staff can now access their payroll-related 2020 T4 and T4A tax slips for personal income tax returns through Workday. An active CWL ID and password are required.
Rapid COVID-19 Screening Tests underway at UBC
Safety & Risk Services has been assisting UBC Student Housing & Community Services in a pilot project offering rapid COVID-19 screening test. This voluntary initiative is a collaboration between the Federal and Provincial Governments, Providence Health Care, Vancouver Coastal Health, UBC’s School of Nursing and Student Housing and Community Services.

UBC Facilities keeping priority routes clear over the long weekend
While many were out playing in the snow or bundled up by the fire, Facilities crews were on UBC campus ensuring the priority routes were clear so buses, emergency vehicles and those living and visiting the campus could move around as safely as possible.

UBC Evaluated As Having “Outstanding Market Position” by Moodys
Bond credit rating company Moody’s Investors Service (commonly referred to as “Moody’s”) has given UBC an Aa1 rating, reflecting “an outstanding market position supported by robust student demand, and a very strong research reputation which has historically allowed the university to generate strong operating results.”
