The VPFO HR Team has some exciting news to announce as there will be some changes over the next few months. Daisy Chan will be going on Maternity leave starting March 2023 and we wish her all the best as she welcomes a new member to her family.
In anticipation of Daisy’s backfill, we are excited to share that Kasia Burza will be temporarily promoted to an HR Advisor during the maternity leave coverage until September 2024. Kasia will support AVPFO and Treasury. Congratulations Kasia on taking on this new opportunity!
The HR Team will also be welcoming a new addition to UBC as we welcome Alysa Garza as an HR Coordinator backfilling for Kasia. Alysa will support AVPFO and Comptroller until September 2024. Please welcome Alysa as she joins UBC on January 30, 2023!
