The VPFO Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee presents Pink Shirt Day on February 22, 2023.
This year’s theme is Acts of Kindness. If you would like to share your story about receiving or practicing acts of kindness at the event, please contact Rachel Lau (vpfo.hradmin@ubc.ca).
Join the VPFO portfolio virtually or on campus at the Life Sciences West Atrium at 2:00 pm in celebrating diversity, kindness and empathy. There will also be an evening event for evening shift workers at Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability (CIRS) 1250 at 7:00 pm.

Pink Shirt Day is an annual event that raises awareness about the negative impacts caused by bullying, and the importance of fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment at work, school, and home. Through the simple act of wearing a pink shirt, people around the world unite, show their solidarity, and celebrate diversity, inclusion and tolerance.
