KPI 1.8: Development of a VPFO Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee

In support of UBC’s strategic goals to build a diverse community and progress towards inclusive excellence, the VPFO will develop a Diversity and Inclusion Committee to bring different perspectives to the table for robust decision making.

Outcome

To cultivate a diverse mix of people and opinions to bring different perspectives to the table for robust decision-making.

Targets

The VPFO EDI committee is tasked with developing and recommending a framework, goals and metrics to implement and operationalize diversity and inclusion goals within the VPFO by Q3 FY22 (Dec 2021).

Inspire Great People

We have great people at all levels of the VPFO and we want to retain that talent, nurture and develop it, and offer engaging ways to apply it at UBC. We need a diverse mix of people and opinions to bring different perspectives to the table, and we must provide a safe working environment that allows all our team members to flourish.
