Trish Pekeles

Executive Director, Automation

Trish leads a new initiative, in partnership with Human Resources, as the Executive Director of Automation. This role will lead automation to continue to support and improve effective and efficient administrative operations. Trish also supports the successful implementation of Workday and the Integrated Renewal Program as the Finance Sponsor.

Trish has a diverse background that includes both private sector and public sector experience.

Before joining UBC, she held several senior executive roles in diverse areas at BC Hydro ranging from Executive Director Procurement, Interim CFO and Chief Strategy Officer, and Director of Finance Generation, Technology, Power Smart and Partnerships.

Trish was also the VP Finance and Administration at Vancouver Community College, and held a number of finance roles in the real estate and telecommunications industries.

Trish is on the Board of Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon and serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee.

Trish holds an MBA from Royal Roads University as well as being a certified Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA).
