Effective Raffaela Mendel has joined UBC as a Senior Treasury Analyst, effective Tuesday, November 12th. Raffaela will support the building and refinement of the long-term corporate financial model, along with providing analytical support for other strategic initiatives across campus.
Raffaela is joining us from Lush Cosmetics where she held the position of Senior Financial Analyst providing financial and business analyses to support strategic initiatives across the company. Prior to joining Lush she worked in investment consulting at Aon Hewitt in Montreal.
Raffaela was born and raised in Germany and completed a master’s degree in management at Purdue University in Indiana before settling in Canada. When not working she likes to go for a swim, read a good book, or go for a hike with her 3-year-old mini poodle, May.
