Join the conversation to shape our future

VPFO Day is a milestone in our cultural transformation—an opportunity to connect, reflect, and strengthen the way we work together.  Last year, we explored connections across the VPFO and where we were headed as a portfolio. This year, we invited everyone to join the conversation and come together for a time of connection to talk about our work, our values, and the culture we build within the VPFO.

On May 12, 2025, the VPFO portfolio came together to explore how our values of innovation, unity, and accountability, empower us to shape the future of our portfolio and support UBC. 

Dr. Benoit-Antoine Bacon joined us that day and offered his welcome speech as he shares his gratitude for the work of our teams and the essential role we play at UBC. He emphasized that the university is only as strong as its foundation—and at UBC, that foundation is the people in the VPFO.
