Legal Opinion Confirms the Way Forward to Divestment
On Dec. 5, 2019, the Board of Governors formally directed VP Finance and UBC Counsel to lay out a pathway to full divestment of the university’s main endowment. Now the university has received a legal opinion which further confirms the way forward to divestment.

2019/2020 Year End Schedule Now Available
The university's fiscal year end of March 31, 2020, is fast approaching, and similar to prior years UBC's financial teams have collaborated on a schedule to support the university community in closing out the fiscal year for accounting purposes.
T4/T4A statements are now available online
UBC issues tax slips online as PDFs that are identical to the printed form, and are accepted by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) when filing your taxes.
