We are responsible for the stewardship of UBC’s physical and financial assets, as well as safety, risk management, and assurance across our university community.

The portfolio oversee a $3.98 billion budget, a $3.38 billion endowment, and all facilities on both campuses, as well as managing the university’s relationships with UBC Investment Management and UBC Properties Trust. In all the portfolio’s responsibilities, we are committed to the values of innovation, unity and accountability.

    Construction on the Brimacombe Building External Maintenance project is anticipated to take place from October to mid-November 2025. The project will clean, prepare and paint external metal structural elements.

  • Metro Vancouver water crews conducting planned work starting October 16

    During the water system adjustments, there will be no interruption to drinking water service. However, you may notice cloudiness or slight discolouration in the water for a few days. Drinking water remains safe for use and consumption at all times.
