Sandy Liu joined the Comptroller team as Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Operational Excellence, effective November 18th. Sandy will be working closely with Steve Bow in support of continuous improvement within Financial Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Sandy will sit in the VP Finance & Operations offices on the 6th floor of Koerner Library.
Sandy joins UBC from Providence Health Care where she held the position of Senior Business Advisor providing risk and financial analyses as well as the development of operational policies and procedures related to the creation of a new organization for residential care operations. Prior to joining Providence she worked Grimm’s Fine Foods as the Director of Finance and Administration.
Sandy is a Commerce graduate from UBC and a Chartered Professional Accountant. During her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with her family.
