  • Workday this Week: The ISC has introduced a channel for news about Workday, answers to common questions, information about known issues and resolutions, and scheduled maintenance times. Find it on UBC’s Self-Service Portal.
  • Payslips for the Nov 13 pay day are available in Workday: Review the Understanding your pay in Workday knowledge base article for an overview of available support.
  • Professional Development fund claim submissions and viewing entitlements now available: Visit the Integrated Service Centre for Workday resources and support, including how to submit claims and view your PD Funds entitlement.   • External Review of Campus Security: As part of UBC’s commitment to address systemic bias and build a more inclusive university, we are embarking on an independent external review of Campus Security. Take the survey by November 22.

Other notable updates

SRS COVID-19 Site Visit Results

Over the last few months members of the Occupational & Research Health & Safety team have been carrying out COVID-19 site visits, to assess the safety measures implemented as part of COVID-19 Safety Planning, and provide recommendations where needed. Statistics from the visits suggest that local safety planners were very good at following the measures outlined in the plan with the majority of metrics at 90 per cent or higher.
