As part of an effort to improve efficiencies and cost-savings while achieving service excellence within the VPFO, some team members of the Business Services team in Customer Services & Informatics (CSI), led by Kishani Gibbons in Facilities will be transitioning to the newly formed Operational Excellence team.
As members within the Business Services team wrap up their current projects, Continuous Improvement Project Managers, Hayley MacDonald and David Pepin, and Business Analysts, Pearle Lundeen and Evan Colville from CSI will be transitioning to the Operational Excellence team within Finance & Operational Excellence.
This newly integrated team, led by Janice Weigel, will support the VPFO and UBC to drive improvement for efficient and effective service delivery, and act as a centre of excellence for the university. During this transition, the Business Services team will continue to support ongoing improvement initiatives and leverage learnings across the VPFO and UBC. This reorganization enables new career options and growth opportunities for these team members, and allows the team to utilize their skills across all VPFO departments to create efficiencies.
