The VPFO Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee presents Pink Shirt Day on February 28, 2024. This year’s theme is Acts of Courage, with a sub-theme of Brave Spaces – creating spaces where we feel comfortable being uncomfortable.
Share a time where you or someone else stepped outside of their comfort zone in an act of courage and how that created a brave space to feel comfortable doing something new or unexpected. Submit your story and/or experience to Rachel Lau (vpfo.hradmin@ubc.ca).
On Wednesdays, we wear pink and this year, we’re taking it to the next level with multiple sessions throughout Wednesday and the weekend. Let’s come together to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and tolerance in the most vibrant and lively way possible!
