Matt Shannon promoted to Manager, Application Development. In his new role Matt provides technical leadership in the development of web applications and integrations to support on-going initiatives within Infrastructure Development and the Associate Vice President, Campus Facilities portfolio. This includes managing the ID Intranet (Content Management System) to support the Infrastructure Development web and communications strategy.
Matt has been with UBC since 2005 and has been an invaluable member of Infrastructure Development. As the Records System Administrator, Matt was instrumental in the development of the facility records repository system into what is now known as the Records Retrieval Site. Matt has been highly influential in the design and implementation of the electronic document management system, Laserfiche, and has been at the forefront of complex projects such as the Design Review Process, Project Impact Map, PM Manual and BOG Reports within the ID Intranet.
