UBC planning $315 million facility expansion of medical research and nursing schools

The Vancouver Urbanized blog shared an overview of some key projects planned for the Point Grey campus, including new health sciences facilities located at the main gateway into the campus.

Seeking nominations for the President’s Task Force on Anti-Racism and Inclusive Excellence

UBC is now seeking nominations from UBC students, faculty and staff to serve on the task force on Anti-Racism and Inclusive Excellence. We are keen to encourage nominations from members of equity-deserving groups that have been traditionally underrepresented. The task force will require a brief but intense period of engagement over a term of 45-60 days.

Join virtual open house on UBCO in downtown Kelowna

Join us virtually on January 19 at 7 p.m. to learn more about this initiative and share your thoughts during a virtual open house. In partnership with UBC Properties Trust, UBC Okanagan is planning a new building in downtown Kelowna. Once design and approvals are in place, construction is expected to begin in mid 2022.
