Steven Wong joins Comptroller’s Capital Financial Management & Reporting as Finance Manager in Project Accounting
Steven will be working closely with Capital Planning & Development and Project Services, in Facilities, responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of Facilities projects. This includes project costing, funding, planning, and reporting to support the successful delivery of capital projects across UBC. Steven joins UBC with a wealth of experience in project accounting and financial management.

Connection and Collaboration in the VPFO
After a series of careful and thoughtful discussions with the Senior Leadership Team, we’ve decided to make a change to increase the time we spend together in person. Our work model for those with a hybrid work arrangement will shift by one day, to three days in-person, to two days off-site each week.

Nikki joins the VPFO Project Management Office from the Integrated Renewal Program (IRP) – Student, where she served as Acting Associate Director, Transformation & Change Management leading a team of change management specialists to support UBC’s transition to Workday Student. Betty joined UBC in 2022 as a Senior Change Management Specialist (Community Engagement Partner) with the Integrated Renewal Program – Student.

Alan will help enhance our technical expertise in civil engineering and asset stewardship.
